Even though there are many wart treatment methods, modern laser treatment is one of the fastest, safest and most effective ways of treating different types of warts such as papillomas, condylomas and other skin formations. This treatment is also effective on warts that are resistant to medication, and they can be removed from any part of the body.
If you noticed warts on your skin, it is recommended to remove them. Especially if you notice wart changes. Warts are caused by human papillomavirus that is easily transmitted by contact. The upper layer of the skin affected by the virus begins to grow rapidly, and warts are formed.
Warts can appear on any part of the body and are divided into 6 main types:
- Warts usually appear on the fingers and toes but can also occur on other parts of the body. Their colour is usually a little darker than the skin, and they have a rough surface, a grainy appearance and a rounded top.
- Plantar warts grow inside the skin and usually look like a small hole surrounded by hardened skin.
- Flat warts usually damage the skin of the face, thighs or hands, are small, flat-surfaced, pink, brown or yellowish.
- Filiform warts usually appear around the mouth, nose, and neck or under the chin. They are small and do not have a distinct colour.
- Periungual warts damage the skin under hand nails or toenails or around them.
- Genital warts damage genital skin (external genitals) and are transmitted sexually.
BEFORE THE TREATMENT
Local anaesthetics are injected with a thin needle before the removal of the skin formations. Even if the injection is slightly painful, this is temporary and easily tolerated. Local anaesthetics cause the numbness of the formation to be removed, so the laser removal of a wart is painless and does not cause any discomfort.
DURING THE TREATMENT
Laser beam impulse eliminates the tissue of the wart without damaging the nearby tissues.
Wart removal treatment is short and usually takes up to 10-30 minutes.
AFTER THE TREATMENT
The client receives information about the after-treatment of the exposed skin, if necessary.
