Vertical bath – procedure during which exercises of spine and joint stretching are performed in the water. The main principle – stretching of spine and joints in the water in various directions by certain measures and exercises. Special stretching and relaxation exercises with auxiliary measures are performed in the vertical bath. They are selected for each patient individually. After the course of procedures is completed, the back aches disappear, muscles get stronger, flexibility of joints increases, tolerance of physical load increases, metabolism improves, weight is lost, and the mood improves.
Applicable:

- in case of hernias of intervertebral spinal discs;
