Therapeutic pedicure differs from cosmetic pedicure in effectiveness and method being used. It is carried out in a dry method, without soaking the feet and using a special sander instead of sharp tools. This way, a minimum layer of hard skin is eliminated, it grows back more slowly, the risk of skin cuts or micro-cracks is minimised, and the risk of nail damage reduces.
Therapeutic pedicure is recommended for all people at least two times a year and is especially useful for those with problematic feet skin, diabetes, ischemic heart disease or neuropathy. If you suffer from cracked heel skin, nail or skin fungus and ingrown nails, the treatment is recommended at least once a month. During the treatment, the specialist will advise on the most appropriate skincare products and plan for your feet.
